Five persons including a woman and her child were on Friday killed when they were hit by moving trains in two separate incidents in Uttar Pradesh.

In a first incident, three people were killed in Sakaldiha area of Pithapur village while crossing the tracks, police said.

The deceased were identified as Ramsevak (14), Suraj (15) and Laxman (16), all native of Rohna village.
The victims were returning after working at a marriage ceremony in Paura village Thursday night.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem, police said.
In another incident, 30-year-old Khurshida along with her 2-year-old son Suleman was killed while crossing the tracks in Chuturbhuj village under Sakaldiha police station.
