This is the first time the venue will host an ODI between the two teams.

Besides this, the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) has sent 2,050 tickets for the sixth and final match of the series to be held at Delhi's Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium on Sunday.

Of the tickets, 1,500 are of Indian Rs. 1,000 denomination, 500 are of Rs. 400 denomination and 50 tickets are of Rs. 11,000 denomination.

There had only been a handful of Pakistani spectators at Ahmedabad for the fourth ODI on Tuesday. They included the evergreen Abdul Jaleel, Pakistan's oldest cricket fan touring all the venues of the series.

"The requests for visas already processed by the Indian high commission (in Islamabad) will be matched against the tickets that have been received on first-come-first-served basis," said Abbas Zaidi, Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) director (board operations).

The PCB has not been very happy with its Indian counterpart for its dilly-dallying tactics over the issue of sending tickets for Pakistani fans.
