10 boys flee juvenile home; seven caught

The ten boys, lodged in the observation home run by the state government's Women and Child Development Department, escaped after physically assaulting the warder yesterday night, Superintendent of the Home S K Kar said.

Police caught seven of the escaped boys from Brahmanagar locality of the town today morning, while efforts were on to nab the other three, Inspector-in-charge of Baidyanath Nagar police station Dipak Mishra said.

While investigation into the incident was on, warder Bijay Sahu, who sustained injuries was taken to a hospital for treatment.
