11 Khairlanji accused to be produced in court

The 11 accused who have been chargesheeted by CBI in the Khairlanji Dalit killings are being produced on Monday in a fast track court in neighbouring Bhandara district.

They will be produced in the court of S Das.

Four members of a Dalit family, including a mother -daughter duo, were killed at Khairlanji village in Bhandara district of Maharashtra on September 28 last year.

Forty-six persons were arrested in connection with the killings of Surekha Bhotmange and her three children Priyanka, Sudhir and Roshan. Of them 25 are on bail.

After a public outcry and widespread protests, the case was handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which filed charges against 11 persons.
