Twelve passengers were injured when the Jodhpur-Howrah Express derailed near Juhi yard in the district on Tuesday, disrupting train traffic on the route.
The engine and two coaches of the train jumped the tracks near the industrial city at 12:25, railway sources said.

The injured have been admitted to a city hospital.
Traffic has been disrupted on the Howrah-Delhi section.
