Fourteen crude bombs were on Sunday recovered by police from a vacant plot in the Central Polilur locality near the politically sensitive Thalassery town in the district.
A police team recovered the bombs, kept hidden in a plastic container under the bushes, during a raid, police said.

The Bomb Disposal Squad later defused the explosives, police said.
