Mansinh Lodhari told PTI that he has received the news of arrest of 16 fishermen and seizure of three boats from his counterpart in Karachi.
The Pakistani Fish Forum informed him on Sunday after the fishermen and seized boats reached Karachi last night, Lodhari said.
With fresh arrests, the total number of fishermen in Pakistani custody has gone up to 392 from 376 and that of seized boats to 372, Lodhari said.
The seized boats were identified as "Amivarsh" with six crew members, "Rajsihansan" with five crew members and "Saptashati" with a five-member crew, Lodhari said.
