2 get death for minor's rape-cum-murder
Two persons were on Wednesday sentenced to death for the rape and murder of an eight-year-old girl from Tripura three years ago.

Two persons were on Wednesday sentenced to death for the rape and murder of an eight-year-old girl from Tripura three years ago.
Pronouncing the verdict, Kamrup District Sessions Court Judge Dilip Kumar Deb convicted Bishnu Prasad Singh and Putul Bora for raping and killing the eight Barnali Deb on July 13, 2002.
Singh is in his mid 50s while Bora is in his 30s.
The judgment is subject to approval of the Guwahati High Court.
