Two Naxalites, including a hardcore activist involved in the killing of a top police officer, were arrested and 100 detonators recovered from them in Naxal-hit Khunti district, police said today.

The ultras identified as Chaitan Munda alias Langra and Budhram Lohra were arrested on Wednesday night.

Besides 100 detonators, a pistol and four rounds of cartridge were also found during the raid.

Langra was wanted by the police in connection with several cases including the killing of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Bundu, Pramod Kumar about three years back and a Rs five crore bank heist, DSP AK Rai said.
