Three persons were arrested after two precious mixed-metal idols were seized from their possession, police said in Barabanki on Saturday.
Acting of a tip off, police arrested three persons identified as Wasim, Jumman and Brij Kishore from Haidergarh area and recovered the idols - one of Lord Krishna and another of Gautam Buddha from them.

The trio was planning to sell the idols to some persons in Rae Bareli.
