Two suspected naxalites were arrested today and 18 fire arms and five magazines were seized from them in Rohtas district, police officials said.

Acting on a tip off, police raided a hideout near a hotel in Sasaram town and nabbed Om Prakash Dinara and Mukul Kumar Baghela and seized 15 country made pistols, two revolvers and five magazines, Superintendent of Police Manu Maharaj said.

The duo have confessed to their association with naxalite outfits in the past, he said, adding a probe was on to ascertain the background of the suspected naxalites.
