22-year-old gang-raped in Madhya Pradesh

A newly wed 22-year-old woman was gang-raped by three persons for three days. The victim was kept captive in hut atop Kajikhedi dam, 45 kilometres from district headquarter.

A newly wed 22-year-old woman was gang-raped by three persons for three days. The victim was kept captive in hut atop Kajikhedi dam, 45 kilometres from district headquarter. On the third day, she managed to escape, reached home and narrated her tale to in-laws.

Police have registered a case against accused Pappu, Jitendra and Laxman under sections 366, 376, 376, 506 of IPC. The accused are absconding. The incident occurred on October 14 under Mahidpur police station area when three accused threatened the woman and took her away with them. When the woman went missing, her in-laws filed missing complaint at police station.
