Twenty-three people were killed and several injured in an explosion in a bus in Tindivanum in Tamil Nadu on Saturday.
According to sources, the explosion occurred in a bus parked at a bus stand in the town. Police suspect the explosion could be due to detonators kept in the bus.

The people had earlier noticed fumes coming out of the bus and started dousing it. However, there was a sudden explosion, police said.
