3 dead, 32 hurt in Gurdaspur bus accident

Three persons, including a woman, were killed and 32 injured when a private bus carrying them overturned near Gurdaspur on Wednesday.

The bus was coming to Gurdaspur from Pandori Mahanta and its driver lost control while overtaking a truck and plunged into a roadside ditch, police said.

They said three passengers were killed on the spot and 32 injured. Some of them have been admitted to the civil hospital in Gurdaspur.

The identities of the victims were being ascertained, they said.
