3 dead, many hurt as hailstorm sweeps Assam

A massive rescue and relief operation has been launched in the affected districts of upper Assam.

At least three people have died and many others have been injured after a fierce hailstorm swept across parts of upper Assam.

Over 100 families have been affected in Lakhimpur, while nearly 2000 people were hit by the storm in Dhakuakana.
