After receiving a tip-off, the police arrested Khudadost Sheikh (37), Mohammed Goyal (40), and Firoz Velukar (35) after laying a trap near N M Joshi Marg, Byculla.
Initial investigations revealed that the substance had been brought from Jammu and Kashmir and was meant to be supplied to colleges, pubs, discothèques and private parties.
Officials said they were investigating the source from where the drug had been procured and are probing the links of the accused in the city.
