Three men were injured in a bomb attack at an Islamic shrine in northeast Bangladesh late Saturday, police said.
The three suffered minor injuries in the attack at the shrine of a revered sufi saint in Habiganj, police sub-inspector Akhlak Hussein said.
A large crowd of Muslims had gathered at the shrine to mark the death anniversary of the sufi, he said.
Police were unable to say what the motive for the attack was.
In February last year the government banned two Islamic groups after blaming them for a series of attacks on Islamic shrines, musical events, cinemas and other targets.
Shaikh Abdur Rahman, leader of one of the banned groups -- Jamayetul Mujahideen Bangladesh -- was arrested Thursday in the neighbouring town of Sylhet after a 33-hour siege.
The group has been waging a bloody campaign to have strict Islamic laws imposed in the largely Muslim country. The government has vowed to preserve Bangladesh's secularity.
Rahman is accused of masterminding a wave of blasts and suicide bombings that began August 17 with more than 400 virtually simultaneous explosions across the country.
At least 28 people including four suicide bombers have been killed in the attacks.
