Three Army jawans were on Saturday injured when an under repair section of an old two-storey hostel building collapsed in the cantonment area on the Patiala-Sangrur Highway.
Patiala Deputy Commissioner Deepinder Singh said the structure collapsed when repairs were underway.

Singh said that he has sought a detailed report from the army authorities.
Army personnel have stopped traffic on the busy highway.
Army officials were not available for comment.
