Three persons, including two children, aged 12 and five, were killed on spot and 33 seriously injured when a lorry in which they were travelling overturned near Arakere village, about 50 kms from in Davanagere on Wednesday.

Police said that the mishap occured when the victims were returning from Malpe.
The injured have been hospitalised.
