At least three labourers were killed while five others were injured when an explosion occurred in a chemical factory in Muzaffarnagar on Friday, police said.
"The blast took place when the labourers were mixing the chemicals into each other in the industrial area of Degarajpur in Muzaffarnagar," SP Rajiv Malhotra said.

The injured were rushed to hospital and are stated to be in a serious condition, he added.
