The song, which was written and recorded in 1968, reveals the deep rift that had developed within the band at that time.

Its lyrics come complete with corrections made by Harrison, and a verse omitted from the completed track, reports Contactmusic.

On the reverse side of the sheet is the lyrics of Hey Jude, which was hand-written by The Beatles' road manager Mal Evans.

The amount that the guitar raked in exceeded the expectations of auctioneers, who were expecting it to go for £100,000, by raking in £52,000 more.

Harrison owned the Maton MS500 Mastersound when the band's debut album Please, Please Me was released in 1963.
