35 passengers injured in bus-lorry collision

Thirty-five passengers of a bus were injured, when their vehicle collided with a lorry on Palani-Pollachi road.

Thirty-five passengers of a bus were injured, when their vehicle collided with a lorry on Palani-Pollachi road on Monday.

Of the injured, five have been admitted to the Government hospital at Udumalpet and three brought and admitted to the Government hospital in Coimbatore, while 27 have been treated as outpatients at Udumalpet, police said.

The state-owned bus was coming to Pollachi from Palani when the mishap occurred, they said.
