Four persons were killed and 50 others injured in two separate accidents in the district on Monday, police said.
Tow persons identified as Mahadeo Gauri [32] and Mukund Jagtap [15] died on the spot at village Vairag on Barshi-Solapur highway when they came in contact with a live electricity wire while travelling in a private truck. 15 others in the truck were injured.

In an another accident, two persons died on the spot and 35 injured when a State Transport bus collided with another bus and a tempo. The injured were admitted to the civil hospital in Solapur, police said.
