In Chamolzi district, two labourers were killed while seven others injured when an under construction wall collapsed due to heavy rains. The labourers were sleeping in tents along the wall when the mishap took place, official sources said in Dehradun.
In a separate incident, one person was killed while another wounded at Chamasari village in the district when boulders from a hill top fell on a van in which they were traveling on Sunday night.
Another incident took place at Kanwali road area on Sunday when a 10-year-old girl fell into a drain and was swept away due to torrential rains.
She is feared dead and efforts to search the girl has proved futile so far, they said.
