Seven people were killed and ten injured in a jeep-truck collision on G T Road in Fatehpur on Wednesday, police said.
The accident occurred in Aung police station area when the jeep ferrying passengers from Kanpur collided head on with the truck coming from the opposite direction while trying to save a tempo, they said.

The condition of some of the injured, admitted to a local hospital, was stated to be serious, they added.
