Plots were offered on the Jaipur-Ajmer highway and the delivery was committed in three years. The developer had asked the buyers to deposit 95% of the price within a year of booking and the rest amount on possession. But many buyers, who claim to have paid money according to the plan, have complained that they have not given possessions till date.

The developer, Vatika Group, has attributed the delay to a change in the layout of the project due to "issues at the authorities' end."

"It was only at a later stage that we came to know that a 220 KVA high tension wire would pass over an area of the Infotech City, leading to an alteration in the plan," said Naveen Bakshi, vice president, operations of Vatika Group. Arvind Kochar who booked a 360-square-yard plot and paid almost 85% of the price but yet to get the possession, alleged, "Vatika didn't even bother to inform us about the change in layout and delay until we inquired about it." Another customer said, "Despite agreeing to take new plots after the changed layout, my repeated follow-ups with the customer relations managers of the developer has not yielded a delivery time line yet."
