Eight persons, including five of a family, have been killed and six injured when a jeep fell into a gorge in Basolikhan near here, police said today.
The jeep was going to Danya from Makraon when the mishap occurred last evening. The vehicle shot off the road, while negotiating a curve, police said.

The injured were under treatment at various hospitals.
