80 injured in West Bengal road mishap

Eighty people were injured when a bus, in which they were travelling, hit a tree after brake failure and turned turtle at Kuaran in South Dinajpur district on Tuesday morning.

District superintendent of police Barun Mallick said that the injured had been admitted to the Balurghat General Hospital where the condition of 20 was stated to be serious.

The bus was going to Tapan from Balurghat, headquarters of the district.
