Aarushi-Hemraj case: Court reserves order till noon

A Ghaziabad sessions court on Wednesday reserved its order in the Aarushi-Hemraj murder case till noon. The Talwars' counsel claimed that the documents given to them by the CBI were not enough.
Additional Solicitor General Haren Raval, who was representing the CBI in the Supreme Court has withdrawn from the case. This came after he was pulled up for trying to threaten the court.
Judge Preeti Singh, who heads the special CBI Court, may also initiate the process of transferring the case to a sessions court for the trial.
Meanwhile, Nupur Talwar, who was sent to judicial custody 10 days ago, would be hoping for relief from the Supreme Court which will hear her bail plea and review petitions today.
The apex court on May 4 had postponed hearing of dentist Nupur's bail petition in the Aarushi-Hemraj twin murder case. The court had also deffered hearing the review plea filed by Nupur and Rajesh Talwar to quash trial proceedings against them.
Nupur Talwar moved the Supreme Court seeking bail in the case of twin murder of her daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj four years ago in Noida.
Nupur had filed a fresh plea for bail in the pending petition before the apex court in which she has sought review of its decision giving a go ahead to criminal prosecution against her and her dentist husband Rajesh Talwar.
