An abducted medicine dealer was rescued and five of his captors were arrested from Delho valley in Bihar's Gaya district on Sunday, police said.

The businessman was kidnapped when he was returning home after closing his shop at Ramnagar Bazaar in Aurangabad district on September 3 night.

Acting on a tip-off, a joint police team from Gaya and Aurangabad raided a house in the valley and rescued him, the police said.

The police arrested the five abductors during the raid.
