The Gurgaon police have dispatched two teams to Bihar (Khagaria and Aurangabad) to lookout for 21-year-old Rahul Kumar.

The incident took place earlier this week at the upscale Trinity Tower in DLF City.

The victim, Vaanya Chadha, is battling for life at the ICU of Medanta hospital. Her father is a renowned caterer.

Vaanya’s relatives have met Gurgaon police commissioner KK Sindhu, who assured the family that the accused would be nabbed at the earliest.

Himanshu Chawla, the maternal uncle of Vaanya, said doctors have been giving varied response about the girl’s condition.

“On Saturday morning, the doctors said that her vitals were responding positively and that she had opened her eyes for a minute. But in the afternoon, we got to know that she had developed some problem in her pancreas,” Chawla said.
