The Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court on Monday granted bail to Harish Mishra, one of the accused in the Indian Oil Sales Manager Manjunath murder case.
A Single Bench of Justice KS Rakhra directed the accused to be released on bail after hearing the counsels of the prosecution and the defence.
Manjunath, an Indian Institute of Management graduate, was killed allegedly at the behest of a petrol pump owner in Lakhmipur-Kheri district after he detected adulteration in petrol on November 11 last year.
The case was currently pending in the district court, in which 18 witnesses had deposed so far.
