Sena Executive President Uddhav’s (49) son Aditya, along with actor Aadesh Bandekar and singer Abhijeet Sawant will help the party focus on urban voters.

Bandekar and Sawant recently joined the Sena.

“The strategy to catch urban voters is to use the Triple A formula — Aadesh, Abhijeet and Aditya,” a senior party functionary said.

“While Bandekar, who is known to be popular among women, will campaign to get more votes from working women and homemakers, Sawant will aim for the youth and Aditya will interact with students to highlight their issues and get new votes.”

The party has already begun taking up urban issues like housing and power in Mumbai.

With its loss in the recent Lok Sabha elections and after staying out of power for about 10 years, the Shiv Sena is now in a do or die position.

While it got votes in the rural belt in the Lok Sabha elections, it fared badly in urban areas.
