After establishing its dominance in the north, Anil Ambani's Adlabs Films Ltd has made its presence felt in the east.

The Government, on Friday, sold radio stations in 17 cities from which it garnered around Rs 21 crore as a one-time entry fee. Sixty-six stations were put out for bidding out of which 48 were sold.
The bidding was for FM stations in West Bengal, Orissa, Bihar, Jharkhand and the entire north-eastern region. The cities included Patna, Asansol, Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Agartala, Itanagar, Kohima, Shillong and Port Blair.
Adlabs, which has bagged 26 licences so far, including seven in top cities, increased its presence to 41 cities by emerging among the top bidders in 15 new cities.
Sun Group's South Asia FM came a close second. The company, which had won licences in around nine northern cities in the last round, won licences in 15 cities.
Two more rounds will see the Government, which is selling a total of 338 radio stations across 91 cities, sell licences in B, C and D category cities across south and west India.
The Government has managed to sell 164 radio stations out of the 206 licences put out for bidding. It is assured of revenues of about Rs 640 crore which it receives as one-time entry fee.
