Adobe CEO’s son kidnap: 3 get life term

A local court on Monday sentenced three men, who had kidnapped Anant Gupta, son of Adobe managing director Naresh Gupta, to life imprisonment.

A local court on Monday sentenced three men, who had kidnapped Anant Gupta, son of Adobe managing director Naresh Gupta, to life imprisonment. It also imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on the three convicts — Chhatrapal, Pawan and Jitendra.

The court had convicted them on Saturday. District government counsel KK Singh said, “The three have been found guilty of kidnapping Anant and convicted under sections 364A, 368 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).”
Four other accused were let off for lack of evidence.
