"Former Uttarkhand chief minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and Karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa had to be sacked on identical charges," CPI(M) Bihar unit general secretary Vijaykant Thakur told reporters.

Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar has no moral authority to flag off Advani's yatra from Sitabdiara on October 11 as the NDA government in Bihar is embroiled in corruption like AC/DC bills and BIADA land scams, he said.

Kumar, he said, should review his decision to flag off the yatra, which would pass through several sensitive areas in Bihar, to keep his secular credential intact as the BJP plans to arouse communal passions through it for electoral benefits in the next parliamentary polls.

Besides, Advani's yatra was "ill timed" as Bihar is facing flood situation, he said.
