Advocates celebrate Sonia?s victory

PRO-CONGRESS advocates of Allahabad High Court celebrated party president Sonia Gandhi?s victory from Rae Bareli here on Thursday. ?The victory of Sonia Gandhi is a victory of good over evil and of morality over immorality.? This was stated in a meeting of advocates held at Ambekdar Park near High Court under the presidentship of HN Mehrotra, former chairman of UPCC-I legal cell.

PRO-CONGRESS advocates of Allahabad High Court celebrated party president Sonia Gandhi’s victory from Rae Bareli here on Thursday.

“The victory of Sonia Gandhi is a victory of good over evil and of morality over immorality.” This was stated in a meeting of advocates held at Ambekdar Park near High Court under the presidentship of HN Mehrotra, former chairman of UPCC-I legal cell.

Veteran Congress activist SK Vidyarthi, moved a resolution supported by HN Mehrotra, which was adopted unanimously congratulating the residents of Rae Bareli for giving Gandhi a massive mandate. The advocates congratulated Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi for their wonderful performance in the election campaign.

Later, the advocates marched from Dr Abmedkar’s statue to Indira Gandhi’s statue situated at the crossing of Thornhill Road and Nyaya Marg. The advocates garlanded Indira Gandhi’s statue.

Prominent among those who attended and participated in the meeting were HN Mehrotra, SK Vidyarthi, Ex-MLA, SC Pathak, Gore Lal Sakiya, Ex-MLA, DS Tiwari, Ranjeet Singh, Ram Samujh Singh, Anil Kumar Pandey, HC Pathak, Om Subhash Tripathi, MP Sinha, RB Trivedi, HC Pathak, Abhinash Verma, Rajendra Kumar Pandey and several others advocates.
