After escape from police clutches in UP, Sameer ran out of luck in MP

Gangster Sameer Jat might have considered himself lucky when he had managed to escape from the police clutches in Uttar Pradesh less than a week ago. However, destiny had something else in store for him.

Gangster Sameer Jat might have considered himself lucky when he had managed to escape from the police clutches in Uttar Pradesh (UP) less than a week ago. Despite tight security on the court premises, he had managed to escape after firing at the policemen.

Jat was brought to Aligarh court (UP) for hearing but he fired at the policemen accompanying him and broke free. The daredevil escape was possible only because his girlfriend, Shobha, who managed to con the policemen, when she came to meet him in the court. She handed him the pistol, which he used to fire and injure a policeman. The incident had occurred on July 31.

Less than a week later, the Gwalior police got information about Jat's movement in Gwalior district and surrounded him. This time, however, he ran out of luck. He was killed in the encounter. The police officials claimed that that they had specific input about his arrival and were waiting for him.
