The children began vomiting after consuming the milk and were rushed to the Community Health Centre. Thirty students, whose condition was stated to be critical, were undergoing treatment at the district hospital in Agra.

Headmaster of the school informed the district administration after blood traces were found in the vomiting of some students. Ambulances were pressed into service to rush the students to the hospital.

District magistrate Agra Pankaj Kumar has ordered an inquiry while a complaint is being filed against the supplier of milk.

‘The children are undergoing treatment. Action would be taken against those found guilty,” said Kumar.
