Airtel reduces call rates in MP, Chhattisgarh

AIRTEL TELEPHONE & Broadband Services has offered reduction in calling rates to its customers in MP and Chhattisgarh. The private telecom service provider has introduced three tariff plans - Plan 499, Plan 999 and Plan 1499.

AIRTEL TELEPHONE & Broadband Services has offered reduction in calling rates to its customers in MP and Chhattisgarh. The private telecom service provider has introduced three tariff plans - Plan 499, Plan 999 and Plan 1499.

The plans offer calling rates of Rs 1.20 per three minutes to any mobile or landline in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, which amounts to 40 paise per minute call to any telephone number across both states, across any operator.

According to a company release, under Plan 499 at a monthly rental of Rs 499, calls to any landline or mobile number in MP and Chhattisgarh would cost Rs 1.20 per 3 minutes. Calls made outside MP and Chhattisgarh would be charged at Rs 1.99 per minute, instead of the current rate of Rs 2.35 per minute.

Similarly, under Plan 999 calls to any landline and mobile within the circle would be Rs 1.20 per 3 minutes and it also includes unlimited calling to local Airtel landline. Customers will get free calling value of Rs 549 under the plan. STD calls outside the circle would be charged at Rs 1.49 per minute.

Internet Plan Home 399 offers unlimited Internet usage at monthly rental of Rs 399. There will be one voice line additional with the plan.
