Aishwarya arrived in Indore along with her mother on Monday after winning the Asian junior tennis title at Bangkok. Speaking to Hindustan Times, Aishwarya said she was overwhelmed after winning the title. It was a dream come true for her. With this win, she has become the top ranked junior Asian player with 600 points.

She said that her important match would be in ITF tournament to be held at Gurgaon from December 2. She said she has to work hard as she has been given entry in the under-18 category also.

She had a tough fight in quarterfinals and finals in the Asian Junior Tennis Championship but she overcame the challenges and won the trophy. She had won the Asian juniors championship in Sri Lanka last year. Despite that win, she was still ranked number two. Now after winning the Bangkok Asian junior tennis title, she has won the top seed position.

She said that this was her best tournament so far as she beat strong Thailand player Natasha, a Korean player in the quarterfinal, and in the final Vietnam player Thung Hu Yinh.

She will visit Australia to watch the Australian Open. She is also planning to play some matches there but it has not been finalised. The Agresen Kendriya Samiti and Agresen Youth of Indore felicitated her at Visarjan Ashram for her brilliant performance in the Asian Junior Tennis Championship.
