Aishwarya Rai invests in M'rashtra energy project

The former Miss World has invested in 2.5 MW windmill power project in Dhule district of the state.

Aishwarya Rai has invested in Maharashtra Government's windmill power project, the Director General of Maharashtra Energy Development Authority said on Friday.

The former Miss World has invested in 2.5 MW windmill power project, a non-conventional energy programme, in Dhule district of the state, MEDA Director General Anil Diggikar said in a statement in Pune.

The windmill project, announced on February 26, 2004, is on target and investors from within and outside the state are showing keen interest in it, he said.
