Ambala Lions Club honours 5 teachers

To mark Teacher's Day', Lions Club at Ambala Cantt, honoured five teachers at a function held at Central Phoenix Club on Thursday.

The teachers who have been given a citation and a memento for outstanding services are, Sudha Mathur (principal of Mind Tree School); Sonia Maheswari (a teacher at RNDAV Public School); Satbir Singh (headmaster of Government Senior Secondary School, Dairy Farm); Ram Nivas Saini and Santosh Walia (teachers of Government Senior Secondary School, Dairy Farm).

Complimenting the teachers for their role in nation building district cabinet treasurer JD Khurania, said that the Lions Club International was the largest service organisation of the world with over 14 lakhs members spread across 209 countries.
