Hello, hello at the GIFA award function in Kuala Lumpur, you went majorly hot in your stage act..what happened? How come you went for the kill?
I’d been working on my body..and everyone around me had noticed the change..I just see my mug in the mirror, and that’s it. So yeah, I was told that I’d toned up, sculpted my body.
Not that I’ve ever been plump, it just felt good to be in shape. For once, I didn’t wear lahenga-choli on stage. I went for the western look created for me by Neeta Lulla. For the act, I did my most popular songs but went for the Britney Spears-Shakira kind of style.
My dear Ameesha Spears, why the sudden steam? I would never do anything that was crude or over the top. I was flooded with compliments, the sms messages are still coming in.
Would your grandma have approved of the new you? Hello, hello, my grandma is the sweetest. She trusts me unconditionally. She knows that every profession has its needs.
I’ve been pretty cool in my dressing style, in Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, I didn’t trip out on a bikini. I was in sarongs, and after that I’ve been mostly clad in skirts and saris.
How many men have made passes at you? Ohhhh, innumerable men..ever since I was in school and then in college. But it wasn’t something I couldn’t handle..men are intimidated by the fact that I’m well-educated.
Ever made a pass at any man? Never! In any case, I don’t go for the hotties. I’ve met so many good-looking men but the moment they’ve opened their mouths, I’ve run for miles.
