A revengeful woman, who had vowed to sent her husband to jail, kept her promise although she resorted to gross lies.
It is learnt that a husband was at the receiving end of his wife. The wife used to allegedly abuse him and even beat him. She threatened to send him to jail and even filed an FIR against him.
Hemant had married Sudha, a divorce, in 1985. The woman had sometime ago filed a case of cruelty against the husband accusing him of breaking her bones.
She claimed of being subjected to cruelty for not bringing sufficient dowry some 20 years ago. She also alleged that she had been beaten by her husband causing fracture in her arm.
The police arrested Hemant on the basis of FIR and produced him in court. His bail got rejected and he was sent to jail. The wife smiled at him and proudly told Hemant that she has kept her vow
However, Hemant was found to be innocent when he filed an appeal in the court of District Judge Shiv Charan Mathur when defense counsel PK Punhani submitted a medical prescription stating that Hemant's wife had sustained injury by falling from a Kinetic Honda.
The District Judge passed strictures against the magistrate and granted bail to Hemant.
