Annual day at Green Valley School

THE ANNUAL function of Green Valley and Greenfields School was celebrated at Ravindra Bhavan. Sumit Bose, Principal Secretary, Finance, was the chief guest. Nearly 200 students participated in the function. The students presented drama, songs, action songs and other cultural programmes.

The tiny tots presented ‘Chanda Chamke’ and ‘Let’s Go Party’ in their colourful dresses. Patriotic songs including Vande Mataram were presented by the senior girls of Green Valley School.

Attired in traditional costumes the students performed Rajasthani, Punjabi, Bengali and Marathi dances.

Prizes were given to the students for best performances in their class during the session 2005-06. The function concluded with the National Anthem.
