Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir have recovered grenades and ammunition from a militant hideout in Ramban district and arrested a militancy supporter in Doda district of the state on Monday, a defence spokesman said here.

"On a tip off, a column of Rashtriya Rifles busted a militant hideout in Khurandar area of Banihal tehsil in Ramban district," he said adding recoveries from the hideout included two chinese hand grenades and one AK magazine.

"RR troops also apprehended one militancy supporter from Jaura village in Thathri tehsil of Doda district," he said.

Farooq Ahmed of the same village was later handed over to police for further investigation, the spokesman said.
