Arunachal Pradesh tableau at the Republic day parade in New Delhi was adjudged best for Fabrication, according to the official sources in Itanagar on Wednesday.
Designed by Information and Public Relations (IPR) department of the state government, the tableau presented an idea of the landscape of the beautiful hill state showing a hanging bridge across a river with 10 live performers catching fish and collecting firewood from forest lands wearing traditional dresses.
The tableau was fabricated by Bappa Chakraborty of a New Delhi based advertisement agency and the total cost came to Rs 10 lakh, the sources added.
