Pankaj Saxena and Yogesh Bhati, working at the ashram, on Saturday filed a written objection before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate D M Patel, refusing consent for the test and demanded the application filed by the CID Crime be rejected.

The matter is scheduled for hearing on September 11.

The CID Crime had filed an application last month seeking permission to conduct narcoanalysis on Saxena and Bhati, after lie detector tests of the duo showed contradictions in their statements.

The bodies of two boys - Dipesh and Abhishek Vaghela - studying in the ashram gurukul were found from the banks of the Sabarmati on July 5 after they were reported missing by ashram authorities two days ago.

The state government has ordered a judicial inquiry into the deaths and the violence that took place during the bandhs in the city that followed the incident.
