A passenger bus and a truck collided head-on in northeastern Bangladesh on Monday, killing at least seven people and leaving about 30 others injured, a TV station reported.

Five people died instantly, and two others died from wounds on the way to a hospital after the accident in Habiganj district, private television station, ATNBangla reported.

Most of the casualties were on board the bus, which was travelling from capital, Dhaka, to Habiganj, 120 kms northeast of the capital, the report said.
